Tera Term for PC Windows is a reliable software solution to connect remotely Telnet or SSH hosts. An open-source and free utility implementing software and emulating multiple computer terminals. Using several plugins, the utility lets you testing the network and determine the strength of a firewall, as well as perform multiple tasks automatically. The software was developed by Takashi Teranishi in Japan in 1994 and won the “Online software grand prize 97” prize in a competition arranged by the Japanese tool portal Madonmori in 1997.

The program emulates multiple terminals while including all types of versions between DEC VT1000 and DEC VT382. In case of any problem, a help index is also available.
With various compatibility with all types of devices, the software has special compatibility with all types of Windows———-Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows 7, Windows Vista, and Windows XP are mainly operating systems to run the app very smoothly and reliably. In addition, it requires a 32-bit and 64-bit setup.
